1. Introduction

Welcome to PazeX. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the PazeX platform, including our website, mobile applications, and all related services provided by PazeX Technologies Ltd. (“PazeX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By creating an account or using PazeX, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

2. Eligibility

To use PazeX as a rider, you must be at least 18 years old and have a valid account. To use PazeX as a driver, you must meet all driver requirements, including valid documentation and successful completion of our verification process.

3. Our Services

PazeX provides a technology platform that connects riders with independent drivers. PazeX does not provide transportation services directly. Drivers are independent partners, not employees of PazeX.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account information accurate and up to date. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Do not share your login details with anyone. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

5. Rider Terms

When you book a ride through PazeX, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate pickup and drop-off locations
  • Be at your pickup location when the driver arrives
  • Treat your driver with respect
  • Pay the fare shown at the time of booking, including any applicable fees
  • Follow all applicable laws during the trip
  • Not engage in any behavior that puts the driver or other passengers at risk

6. Driver Terms

When you accept a trip through PazeX, you agree to:

  • Maintain a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance at all times
  • Keep your vehicle clean, safe, and in good working condition
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations
  • Treat riders with respect and professionalism
  • Complete trips safely and follow the recommended route unless the rider requests otherwise
  • Not engage in any behavior that puts riders or other road users at risk

7. Payments and Pricing

For Riders:
 Fares are calculated based on distance, time, and ride type. You will see the estimated fare before confirming your ride. Final fare may vary based on actual route, traffic, or any changes to your destination during the trip. Payment methods include cash, debit and credit cards, bank transfers, and in-app wallet.

For Drivers:
 PazeX deducts a commission from each completed trip. The remaining amount is your earnings. Earnings are available for weekly withdrawal. Full commission details are available in the PazeX Driver app.

8. Cancellations

Riders may cancel a ride before the driver arrives. A cancellation fee may apply if the driver has already started traveling to the pickup location. Drivers may also cancel rides under certain circumstances, but repeated cancellations may affect their account standing.

9. Safety

PazeX is committed to the safety of all users. We expect riders and drivers to behave responsibly and respectfully during every trip. Any behavior that threatens the safety of others may result in suspension or removal from the platform.

10. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Use PazeX for any unlawful purpose
  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against any rider, driver, or PazeX team member
  • Damage, tamper with, or misuse the PazeX platform
  • Create fake accounts or provide false information
  • Use PazeX to transport illegal items
  • Interfere with the normal operation of our services

11. Suspension and Termination

PazeX may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in unsafe behavior, or act in a way that harms the PazeX community. You may also delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting our support team.

12. Limitation of Liability

PazeX is a technology platform that connects riders and drivers. We do our best to provide a safe, reliable service, but we are not responsible for the actions of individual riders or drivers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PazeX is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this . Continued use of PazeX after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of PazeX will be resolved in the courts of Nigeria.
